Hyperspectral Chemical Imaging Instrumentation and Software

The mission of BurgerMetrics is to support the advancement of chemical imaging technologies (instrumentation and software) in an effort to better understand chemical and physical processes. This spatial - chemical knowledge yields improved product quality and a reduction of waste and environmental impacts - promoting a sustainable future.

BurgerMetrics SIA, Riga, Latvia, was founded by Dr. James Burger in 2007. Dr. Burger is a leading specialist in chemical imaging research and has over 30 years of experience in the development of scientific instrumentation and scientific workstation software applications.

Dr. Burger's broad range of experience includes construction of one of the very first HPLC-MS (high performance liquid chromatography - mass spectrometer) instruments; development of commercial HPLC - UV-Vis spectroscopic detectors; numerous scientific workstation software products; and the design and implementation of MS-Word Wizards and GUI standards at Microsoft through 5 cycles of MS - Office products.
