Journal of Spectral Imaging

The world of hyperspectral imaging has expanded to include not only satellite and airborne remote sensing (meter and sub-meter spatial resolution), but also a wide range of ground based activity ranging from macro scale imaging (mm) of laboratory samples and online process automation environments, to microscopic applications. James Burger is the chief editor of the Journal of Spectral Imaging, a newly created e-journal which incorporates all spatial and spectral ranges of spectral imaging. IASIM

The International Association of Spectral Imaging (IASIM) was founded in 2009 to further the collaborations and open discussions between the diverse areas of spectroscopic imaging. James Burger is one of the principle founders of this organization, participating in the organization of EASIM-09, Gembloux, Belgium, IASIM-10, Dublin, Ireland, and IASIM-12, tentatively planned for Genoa, Italy.
